We dropped 4 spots in the AP poll after our lopsided loss to Duke. Now #22!

Maryland dropped only one spot in the Coaches poll today (Tuesday; now 10th) after getting hammered by Texas on Monday. That same poll dropped us 3 spots to #21 after losing to Duke on their home court.
Hmmm. I guess it's because we are the "new kids on the block."

I was going to post about this, then got distracted by politics. Lots of Maryland TOs. The weird part is that Texas and Maryland are neck and neck in the AP rankings.
