Livestats does not say - it too cuts out at 4 seconds - but it looks like Clardy got the final shot guarded by Twidale?CalFanatic said:

Cal women’s basketball has swept Stanford.
An historic moment for this program. pic.twitter.com/3NZuq3Ersf
Was that the call on Suarez who had her hands way high and over the Furd? Suarez didn't swipe at the ball or player but got called anyway.Sebastabear said:
That shot wasn't in the same zip code as the basket. But they got like three chances at it in the last 10 seconds. None of them were good.
But I've seen MMA fights that involved less physical contact. Feel like the refs just lost control when Michelle got punched in the face right in the front of a ref who just looked at the punch and didn't do a thing. From that point on it was just game on. Stanford felt like they could get away with anything and they did. On the other side we got called for defensive fouls under the basket that were mind boggling. Second to last one )I think) involved Stanford completely initiating the contact, backing into the Cal player (who was backing away) not even looking at the basket and heaving the ball (backwards) and drawing the foul. Completely insane.

Was at the game. That was some egregiously bad officiating. Never should've been that close.
Stanford clearly recognized they were getting away with a lot (while Cal was being penalized for the slightest contact) and ramped things up even more in the fourth quarter. The officiating eventually had to acknowledge the excessive fouling when A PLAYER HAD TO BE SENT TO THE LOCKER ROOMS DUE TO INJURY, though the elbow to the face remains a glaring blemish on the referees' performance.Sebastabear said:

Congratulations, Charmin!! You and the team made history!!
That was great. We had a great large group. First time my wife and I went to Maples.
Go Bears!!
Is this the first time we have heard Charmin making some reference to the tournament? ("Quad 1 win".....)ncbears said:
