Has decided to drop all sports. And they are not the ony division II schol to do so. will it spread to Division i schools. I think it will. Hard to imagine students who go a hundred thousand dollars in debt supporting athletes who want more on money losing athletics.

Oh for sure and it will happen at Cal before other schools!

well, it's not just athletics, but several majors and departments SF Chronicle link (pissed abt physics major)
So I can't see something like that at Cal. Sounds like the Sonoma State budget was terribly mismanaged, so it's a bit of a different situation.

Doesn't mean Cal's athletics budget is in great shape, though
