I too used to donate a pair of season tickets for the AD to give to schools or other community groups to use. In each case, I had to contact AD to make the donation. They didn't call me. I have had more contact with the AD about WBB when the team came to Boulder the last few years. Devin Shallowhorn has been the primary contact, but he is in development.

Charmin and the "Splash Sisters" (Io and Lulu) are scheduled to appear on the Warriors pregame show tonight (Friday) at 6 pm.

Free publicity and a great way to get your message out to a "basketball-minded" audience.

Yep - just saw them on the W's pregame show. Good for them! If that brings a few more fans (and it should, you would think), all the better.

Part of the building process. It will happen organically if Cal keeps the program climbing.

I don't think there will be a explosion in attendance but as long as numbers incrementally climb, it bodes well.

that's great, and supports my point

there doesn't seem to be an organized way for fans to make these types of donations

to do so the fans need to take the initiative and find someone in the athletic dept to assist

the WBB program does a lot of creative things at games ... some examples:

school haas rock is the best one and is one of the biggest attended games of the season. I understand the players love it too.

they also have teddy bear toss where fans throw teddy bears onto the court which are donated to a local children's hospital.

breast cancer event and fund raiser, with players wearing pink uniforms.

cultural celebration games (MBB do this too).

players walk around to greet fans (win or lose) - I think MBB only does this for wins

players throwing small foam basketball to the fans after wins (this stuff is so easy and has no costs, and fans love it)

Golden Way events (pre or post game chalk talks) - requires some level of donations, but can't be much if I'm invited

half-time shows from outside groups (e.g. youth basketball games, etc) that bring in fans

But there many other things they can do to bring in new fans, improve game day experience, and raise the awareness of the program. I have many ideas, especially to increase student engagement and social media.
