I was impressed that you showed up wearing Cal gear even to a TV game.
Didn't want you to kick me out.
Please tell me annarbor lives in Michigan. Otherwise I will be disappointed that I wasn't invited.

Ann Arbor used to live in Michigan. now he is here. But he graduated from Cal. But went back to Michigan to be an administrator.
we didn't drink beer because i could drink him under the table. Or I used to be able. His partner offered me wine but I had to drive home.
He has also been in West Virginia and Virginia a lot. He's got an amusing story to tell about a Virginia-Florid State football game.

I guess I should share that story about Virginia/FSU. Decades ago, I was in Charlottesville to attend a conference and stuck around afterwards to play some golf. I got matched up with some FSU alumni who were in town for the Virginia/FSU football game. They invited me to attend the game with them that evening.
The highpoint of the game was the introduction by the Virginia announcer for the Virginia marching band:
" We want to welcome our great friends from Florida State to tonight's game. We both have a great deal in common."
"We come from a large public university. They come from a large public university."
"We have a football team. They have a football team."
"Our incoming freshman averaged 1400 points on their SAT exams. They have a football team."
Maybe our Cal announcer could use that one on them again at our next home FSU football game.
