2025 Ally ACC Women's Basketball Bracket (PDF) - Atlantic Coast Conference

If Cal makes it through their Thursday game, they advance to face Notre Dame (#2 seed). North Carolina State upset ND and finished first in the conference. I think that Cal matches up better against NCS. Obviously, the Bears upset the Wolfpack in Berkeley while getting blown out by approximately 40 by the Fighting Irish.

So by my reckoning Florida State gets a re-match against us in the title game. We should be able to handle them a second time.

Virginia beats Pittsburgh, Clemson beats Stanford, and Boston College beats Syracuse in first three tournament games. I wonder if Stanford will accept a WBIT bid or just call it a year,

Virginia has that dynamic soph guard

We better bring it to beat them again

Virginia normally goes with just 6 players, had to go a little deeper due to an injury and a foul out. Played a slower tempo today than usual.

Clemson won by 17. Maybe they're better than I thought.

Either the Clemson defense looked good or the Stanford offense was terrible. Maybe both.

A quick glance at the NET shows that by beating Stanford yesterday easily on a neutral court, Clemson went up 4, Stanford down 2, and Cal up one. Probably some other influences too based on the other results

I had to laugh yesterday during the Virginia/Pitt game when the commentator was talking about how "dangerous" Stanfurd was due to their history. Prompted me to put a little wager on Clemson, who was actually the underdog. Thank you ACC network.

What? Jennifer Azzi wasn't surprisingly warming up?
I love announcers getting into "legacy" broadcasting...well done on your part....
Don't get me wrong-I don't dismiss program culture, knowing "how to win", and the other cliches that have some value...but, a change of coach, a big transfer, and those all mean something...

Looking at the bracketology here... would be great for us to beat Virginia, while some of the projected 7 seeds lose their first round matchups. IE- Washington upsetting Michigan today. I'll be tracking closely.

BC up 9 over UNC with 8 minutes to go in 4th quarter. Wow!

Clemson took Louisville to OT before losing by 2.

So, Cal losing today doesn't mean much....does a gigantic upset today make a difference, no matter what else happens for the tournament?

Utah's first round loss moved Vanderbilt from an 8 to a 7 seed in the bracketology. We stayed at 8.

My money is on Duke to win the ACC tournament. They looked great against Louisville. That defense, wow! it's absolutely smothering!

Mods, please move the last half of this thread to some other forum.

All of the comments on this second part of the thread are about the ACC tournament. Or Cal's ability to move up in seeding due to other tournaments. Am I missing something here?

Reminder that our seeding isn't done in a vacuum. What happens in the ACC tournament-even if Cal is out-matters to the program.

On that note, even though my money is on Duke, I hope NC State wins the tournament. Could be looked at considering our W against them at Haas.

Fun game that was to attend.

Duke wins the ACC Tournament! I watched the game, well played and coached......As in other close games in the tournament, the winner surges in the last few minutes.
