I received an email from Charmin Smith this afternoon. Maybe some of you did too.

"On Friday, the House v. NCAA settlement was passed, which will fundamentally reshape how collegiate athletics are funded, supported, and experienced. These changes present both a challenge and an opportunity, and how we respond will define the future of Cal Women's Basketball."

An anonymous donor and I have stepped up to create a match of $150,000 for all who support the Women's Basketball Fight for California Challenge that is happening now!

I thought that donations from coaches were prohibited. But that may only apply to outside NIL.

I'm going to donate. As coffeebear mentioned it would be nice if the extra paid for courtside seats could go directly to the women's team too.

I went to six Cal WBB games this past season after not being to one in several years. Even was able to bring my son (high school freshman) to a couple and he had fun too. Exciting team to watch, despite not having elite talent.

I have mostly been a Cal FB and MBB fan over the years, but am STARVING for Cal teams that WIN! (While representing the University well too, but can't leave out the WINS!).
