I'll be away, but the game's on our kitchen calendar, and BearBloke will be reminded (several times).

I admire you and all of you on this board who support the Cal women as you do.
As someone who got to be there practically at the beginning of Cal women's hoops(1975), I think it's a wonderful part of Blue and Gold sports tradition. I root mostly from the other side of the country, but I am thankful for the spirit you all bring! Goooo Bears!

2024-25 Women's Basketball Roster - Westmont College Athletics

Westmont returns their top seven scorers from an 18-11 team last season. They all played 21.4 to 31.4 minutes per game. This team outscored their opposition approximately, 65-60. The players in their regular rotation average 5.3 to 15.8 ppg. Westmont outrebounded their opponents by 8.8 boards per contest. The Warriors return four viable three-point threats. Their biggest weakness would seem to be ball-handling. Last year they averaged 17.9 turnovers per contest. Their top scorer, Sage Kramer, averaged three turnovers for every assist.

Their #2 scorer, Bailey Fong, and their #4 scorer, Noemie Bariteau, are two solid guards from the CCS. Fong and Bariteau represent Hillsdale HS & Archbishop Mitty, respectively. Another Westmont player that Cal fans will notice is 6-2 senior PF, Lisa Kiefer, from Germany. She led the team in rebounds (11.6 rpg), blocks (37) and steals (63) over 28 games in 2024-25.

Have any season ticket holders received an email in the last week about the exhibition game tomorrow? I haven't seen any emails about it, and since it apparently is free admission, there isn't a ticket in my account to remind me to attend. They likely wouldn't get large attendance for a Tuesday night exhibition game, but it's even worse when they don't bother to advertise (or even MENTION) the game to season ticket holders.

I specifically emailed my ticket rep to ask and she replied saying that yes it's free and yes I won't get any tickets in my app and oh, she's been out of the country. I actually don't have an issue with her but I completely agree that it feels wild that they don't have a better communication plan.

Yes. Last Friday 10/24.

Reminders? This thread about the exhibition game was started on 10/21. Enough of a reminder for you?

You can always go to Calbears.com and check the WBB schedule to see what games are upcoming.

I didn't receive an email Friday that mentioned the exhibition game tonight. Was the email you got a general newsletter-type message, or something from your ticket rep?
I know how to go to the website and find the schecule; my point is that Cal doesn't seem to be promoting the game at all, which will have a negative impact on attendance.

It was from Cal Bears updates at around 2:30 pm on Friday and the subject line said: Cal Women's Basketball FREE Exhibition.

It's an exhibition game against an NCAA Division II school. The attendance will be what it is. It doesn't matter. The Bears have been heavily promoting their Paris trip and game instead.

Have you filled out this form to specify what emails you want to receive?

I hope that the game box score is posted. It's too bad that there's zero coverage for this. Please post your observations of the game and its participants. GO BEARS!

I didn't receive an email either, and I don't know how many times I've signed up for updates, and still only periodically receive them.

Just for fun, I signed up with this link selecting a half dozen teams, but the fact the form still says "Knowlton Notes" doesn't give me confidence

I agree (I didn't get an e-mail, either); Cal WBB/Athletic Department/Marketing/Etc. needs to consolidate its communications.

Same here. I've signed up for the emails many times. In the past several months, the Cal emails have been very inconsistent. For a few weeks, I received the football 'gameday' emails and announcements, then for the next game, I wouldn't receive any of the emails. There's definitely something broken in their season ticket holder email system. I hope they figure it out soon so we receive all of the emails that season ticket holders (and any fans who sign up) should be receiving.

Anyone know what the final score was? It seems strange that there is no evidence online anywhere of this game actually happening. Ha!

Edit: Never mind, I found it on the other thread.

The fun part was the 41 - 11 3rd quarter.
