Time to start planning ahead if you will want to watch the Vanderbilt game next Monday. Looks like it will be on ESPNU. I get ESPNU through a combined ESPN sports package that I have. But not everyone will have it in their regular cable subscription. Another option would be to sign up for a free trial of Hulu, which carries ESPNU, and then cancel it right after the game.

ESPNU is Channel 788 on Infinity in the Bay Area, so you can check and see if you do get that.

I would never say Cali. I have seen it printed on clothes, I believe that is to get around the trademark on Cal.

Now we can see that Morris will be a scorer. What a plus.

Morris looks nothing like a Freshman. Not terribly surprising. So happy she's a Bear

Team look much better and more athletic than I had anticipated! Lulu looks really fit.

Lulu isn't shooting well (yet) but already has 6 rebounds.

Two starting freshmen doing great. Scoring, defense and Puff has zero TO's.

Despite a little Vandy flurry we're ahead of a ranked team at the half.

Yes, Puff and Taylor are looking great. Mjracle and Sakima are looking good and our returnees are all looking more athletic than last season. Haven't seen Naya yet.

BearBloke and I are at, ahem, California Sports Bar. Despite Lulu's jet lag, Cal is playing with more teamwork and energy than I'd expected, especially against a ranked team. Good defense! Am still learning the many new names, numbers and general vibe.
