A slimmed-down Marta Suarez starting and scoring in double digits today for #17 ranked TCU. She will be on national tv a lot this year with All-American Olivia Miles also on the team. Marta gave us two good years, so wishing her well.

Final tally of 19 points as TCU's leading scorer, Must admit that I didn't even recognize her at first with the weight loss. Looks like she wants a pro career and is making the commitment.
She was so slim that I couldn't tell her apart from Clara Silva. I think the announcers couldn't either.

Another major change for Marta Suarez was that she only committed a single turnover. The TCU coaching staff (and her NIL $) certainly motivated her to evolve into a new player. It appears that the transfer benefitted her.
It makes Cal fans wonder how good the Bears could have been if she had returned for her final season.

They played a weak team today. But she had only one TO. Instead of dribbling to the basket a lot, she was slashing inside and receiving passes from others.

I watched Marta just put a clinic on highly touted Kamil Pierre of NC State the other week. Pierre will be a high wnba draft pick was just exasperated by Marta's versatility.
