I don't post during the game as I watch when I go to the game. And I don't take my phone.

1. The concession stand is a mess. Now you have to check out all the work for them. Plus you can't get ice and have to get a cold can. I thought they outlawed cans years before because they might throw them on the court. Can I bring my own can to the game.

2. i mentioned Puff was not as fast in the first practice. But she is not slow. She is no faster than the last two point guards we had. She is not in shape and should lose some weight. She was taken out of the game not because she got the ball stolen from her but because she didn't hiustle back when it happened. in fat the second time he just jogged back.

3. No monitor to keep people out of your reserved seats.

4. For all this talk of diversity, no honoring of the vets on Vetern's Day. Don't ask me to honor other groups this year.

5. Music is till too loud. No diversity in the music.

6. Straw hat band was small last night but brought back that cheer when the opposing team misses a free throw they shout "You let the whole team down."

7. Small crowd. so much for increasing the attendance by having a better season the year before.

8. Miss the male cheerleader from the last two seasons'

9. Epitome of the night. When talking to Stu, he told me he used to play Tuba. Haven't met too many reformed tuba players.

10. Still, live basketball beats TV any time.

11. It is still to early to make informed predictions for the team. When Lulu starts hitting her threes. When Puff starts to hustle more. When Lola gets a few more shots. We held them to below 40 % shooting for the second straight game.

12. I noticed before the game when looking at Pacific's stats that they shot the three better than thy shot the two. and they proved it last night.

13. We did a good job on the their two leading scorers Bartholomew and Nestorov.

14. I will be there this weekend. Will you?

There must be someone in the Athletic Department who is assigned to think about "How can we make things worse for our fans?".

The prices at the concession stands are so small making it difficult for me to read it. Either I misread it but the cost of the hot dogs & pretzels are the same price $9 each. Tell me I'm wrong.

The students are doing their jobs: rally comm, Cal band, cheer team, Oski etc. It's the professionals who are, at best, mailing it in. Didn't think that Knowlton leaving would solve everything but I did expect some progress.

5. Music is till too loud. No diversity in the music.

In addition to this, during timeouts or dead ball stoppages the music has to play from the very first second until the very last second before the ball is inbounded.

Is this a result of some crazy survey done by the athletic department? Is it really necessary to do this every time?
Really annoying.

Good luck on your email. I once sent them one with a decibel reading from my decibel meter. Had no impact.

My email message didn't address the loudness issue. I asked him simply why it's necessary to have the music play almost every second during timeouts and dead balls. To your point I will be surprised if I get a response.

For what it's worth, I do remember wearing earplugs to games at Harmon years ago since the band was in the student section and many games were sold out. I had a good set of plugs back then since I was in the Army Reserves at the time.

I forgot my earplugs again! There must be a defibrillator at court side, hopefully, someone is trained to use it...
Is there a doctor present at every game to respond to emergencies?

I just e-mailed Craig and Owen, and cc'd Charmin: charminsmith@berkeley.edu

Charmin, because I mentioned that we do ask freakin' friends to come, and every one of them, including their kids, has mentioned that the noise is a little extreme. BearBloke and I literally have to scream at one another to comment on a play, even during half time.

BearBloke takes his off; I use ear plugs. It's still effing loud.

I sometimes use ear plugs. It's still effing loud. Is this an American idea: it's loud, so we must be having a good time?

Good move with the Charmin cc. Better chance of action if she gets involved with the issue.
