No comment on who's starting. Won't say anything to the first open practice. I think minutes per game count more than who's starting.

How many of you have been to an open practice? Three years ago, i rved about Marta and S 71 thought i was crazy as he supported his old Santa Barbara Star. This year I stated Mjaricle was really fast and could play great defense.

You don't need 16 players. Connecticut for years has had about 9. You use male practice players so you wouldn't use the bottom five for even practice. You'd like to have 9 or 10 players because of injuries.

Cal has done something old school. which is returning players. Two years ago we returned 4 starters and only had to replace Lelani, Michele stayed four years. Most of our team is returning this year. Should be a great year. Three straight post season tourneys and i see a fourth coming up.

Didn't catch any high school ball this year. I mean live ball. I'm getting old. Too hard to drive at night. Although you can catch day games at the Jamboree.
