Cal Women's Basketball End of Season Banquet
Casino Night
April 28, 2026
6:00 - 8:00 PM
California Memorial Stadium, Field Club - 2227 Piedmont Ave, Berkeley, CA 94720

Casino Night & Raffle
Come ready to enjoy casino games like Blackjack and Craps, and win some great raffle prizes throughout the night. Everyone will receive 2 raffle tickets & a card worth 5 raffle tickets OR $125 in casino chips. If you need more chips, you will have an opportunity to get more at the door and throughout the night.

Parkin & Transportation
All attendees are responsible for their own parking and transportation to the event. Below is a link to all the parking lots on campus. There is also street parking available. We recommend you park in the Stadium Parking Garage.

Cal Visitor Parking

Attire
Attire for the event is Cal Casual. We want to keep it fun but on brand. Please no sweats or oversized hoodies.

Dinner
Dinner will be served throughout the night at a buffet. Tables will be out for you to be seated and enjoy a meal between casino games. All seating will be open seating.

Online Silent Auction
We have some great items up for bid in our online auction this year. You can bid on items anytime between now and the end of the banquet. Winners will be announced at the end of the banquet at approximately 8:00 PM.

    I'm actually looking forward to it. I was worried for a few days after the portal opened and started to think I wouldn't go if it was going missing a bunch of players but turns out I'm truly excited that our core is returning and we have some great new players to add to the fold.

    I'm unable to attend but I purchased two student athlete tickets so that they may be there. Worked with Tess Romine-Black on this purchase.

    I liked the "casino" atmosphere. Not that I like real casinos, but this was a good way to get people talking to others they don't already know.

    The highest GPA award (the only award) went to Sofia.

    I had a nice talk with Naya about coming to Berkeley, which is quite different from where both of us started out. She loves it here.

    I had a great conversation with Gisella. She said returning was never in question...meanwhile, she noted that Charmin knew what players she needed to fill out the the roster and signed all the players she had targeted from the portal....3 visits, 3 signings. I think the starters are looking forward to having a deeper bench too...Overall it was a fun evening and I walked away with more Cal swag from the raffle.

    Players will head home soon for a break, but be back in June. They've apparently been working out right up until now....not sure how all that works any more with NCAA, etc. Already renewed my season tickets so looking forward to next season.

    Curious if any of the players who entered the portal attended? Puff, Lola, Grace or Isis? Probably not. Might be a little awkward.

    Charmin spoke briefly, Eliza and Kai even more briefly. I didn't see Meghin but it was dark inside.

    I think I saw Grace but I wasn't sure. I didn't see either Sakima or Claudia and if standing those two would be hard to miss.

    Sakima is on the Minnesota Lynx roster, so I imagine her first obligation is with them as the start of the season gets closer. And player cuts before then.

    Lulu, Giselle, Naya, Barnes, Sheppard, and Anastasia were there.

    The two most engaging players I spoke with was G and Naya, but various players were in the middle of playing games so there wasn't much an opportunity to talk to them much

    That explains it, and I arrived late so didn't see her academic award
