She posted a lot of videos of her euro travels on IG and also follows lots of her Cal teammates and other Cal athletes. She was always all-in at Cal.

After the NCAA loss I had a brief moment with her after everyone left.
She was so gracious and warm and it's one of my lasting memories of my Cal fandom, right up there when I met and talked with Jorge sitting by himself watching a WBB game

Indiana Fever Adds Forward Michelle Onyiah on Player Development Contract
INDIANAPOLIS (July 31, 2026) The Indiana Fever have signed forward Ugonne "Michelle" Onyiah to the team's second Player Development roster spot, it was announced today.
A 6-3 forward, Onyiah comes to Indiana having most recently played for the Charlotte Crown in the Upshot League, where she leads the league in blocks per game (1.1) and has the third-most rebounds per game (6.9), while also averaging 9.6 points per game.

It's still good news that she has a DP contract regardless. That offers good opportunity to learn and play with the team. Here's a recent piece from Title IX Sports that talks about this:

I think this is the first time I've seen Michelle listed on the box score which makes me thinks she's dressed and could play. Anyone watching the game?
Well if she's activated, at least she gets a decent payday, an extra $6k.... The Fever have clinched and have a pretty brutal schedule so perhaps some starters will see some rest and she may get some court time. Let's go Michelle.

michelle onyiah-my favorite women's hooper of all time with unreal +2 athleticism whose limited collegiate development (which is impacting her wnba opportunities) wuz marked by poor coaching of defensive fundamentals (i.e. reaching with the hands, moving the lower body when posted up, lack of awareness of the principle of verticality), foul trouble (the bears all time leader in offensive moving screens), playing outta position (onyiah is a natural post interior 4, not a banging 5 defensively) & a program culture ingrained with an acceptance of correctable turnovers (attempting cross court passes which are often intercepted)
but charmin's biggest failure wuz revealed in my conversations with michelle on fall football gamedays at memorial stadium when multiple times we discussed her bizarro (and entirely inaccurate) perception that the refs wuz intentionally biased against her which she tole me the head coach agreed with her on this strange unjustified paranoia
