Since it appears from posts here that there are technical difficulties preventing everyone from seeing the game, I'll post some observations, here.

Currently, Cal's up 33-19 with 5:45 left in the half.

The game started fairly even, but Cal's starting to pull away, pushing the ball at every chance and passing the ball really well and very unselfishly. There was a fast break a couple minutes ago that featured probably 6 passes and resulted in a fast break bucket on a textbook perfect passing display.

Mercedes is wearing #31 tonight. She has 5 so far. Reshanda has 11. and Brittany has 4 with 4 assists. Gabby has 5 assists and Penina just came in. Several have 3 rebounds so far.

Mikayla just hit a 3 to go for 11. Cal's up 36-25 with 2:01 left in the half. Brittany just conked her head on the floor pretty good and Courtney just came in for her. Courtney has 2, with 2 fouls.

Gabby's in for Brittany. She just hit Courtney, who hit a nice driving bank shot and hit the +1. Then on a Bears' steal, she hit the driving layin for another 2 so she's got 7 now. 41-25 Bears with 32.9 left in the half.

I think she started with #10 but might have gotten blood on it. Terrific game . Lots of neat passing.

Can you tell the guys at the board they are sending out the wrong feed?

Cowling: 3-5 (2-3 from 3), 3 reb, 1 steal, 13 min
Range; 3-5, 7 pts, 4 reb, 1 asst, 1 block, 16 min
Jefflo: 2-2 (1-1 from 3), 5 pts, 1 reb, 1 asst, 1 steal, 10 min
Boyd; 2-5, 4 pts, 5 asst, 1 t/o, 15 min
Green: 2-5 (0-3 from 3), 4 pts, 3 reb, 5 asst, 3 t/o, 1 block, 17 min
Davidson, Shine and Hartman split 15 minutes with no pts and 1 reb for Penina.

Nevada's main threat has been guard Terilyn Moe 10 points but she's turned the ball over 4 times and his 2 assists. Nevada only has 4 assists at the half while Cal has 12, sharing the ball really well, thought still a little sloppy at times.

As noted in another thread, they're having technical difficulties they won't be able to fix tonight.

Brittany back in to start the half and hit a nice driving shot then stole the ball back with a headlong dive. She also faked her defender right onto the seat of her pants on another drive.

She only has one gear.

Both teams traded a pair of buckets, then Cal hit a couple more, including a nice Reshanda drive in traffic. Cal up 48-29 3:30 into the half.

Mikayla just swished another 3 then tough Cal d forced a halfcourt turnover. Cal's up 53-31 with 12:45 left.

No. They're 1-0 heading into the game and Moe had a triple double in their win over UCSB. They're clearly overmatched here, though.

The three frosh are playing together for the first time and Penina just hit a 3 for her first points of the game. Cal's up 69-49. KC and Reshanda are in, too.

KC just had a nice pump fake and drive for a bucket then followed up with another drive for 2. Then Shine hit a 3 on the next possession. Cal's up 76-53 with 1:20 left.

Boyd #10 all-time pac-12 career steals. whether she breaks the record of 372 will come down to the wire but should easily eclipse #2 at 325. Also on pace to crack top 5 in assists this year.

Gabby will have to figure out the best ways to score. I think her midrange game is where she has the most potential, slashing and pulling up, give and go, catch and shoot, etc. She's still finding her way but she does have 8 assists.

As I recall in her videos she had the "low" release. Has that been corrected or does she still release where blocks are a lot more possible?
