Boyd, Clarendon & Gray have their WNBA team profiles in the article enclosed. I was surprised to see that Reshanda Gray
is really only 6-2. No wonder that she had difficulty trying to post up inside against taller female opponents.

Good luck & GO BEARS!

I recall the question of Davidson's height, but she was as tall as Range (6'3"), but appeared taller than Reshanda. Oh well, Anigwe and Yue will add legit 6'4" and 6'7" height, respectively, to the Cal front line.

Brittany Boyd had a great debut in the Liberty's win over Atlanta. She scored 14 points (4 of 7 shooting), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals in 20 minutes off the bench.

Layshia had 9 points (3 of 7 shooting) and 4 rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench as her Indiana Fever lost to Chicago.

Unfortunately, Reshanda did not see the floor at all in Minnesota's win over Tulsa. I'm a bit surprised by that, but optimistic she will get opportunities soon enough.

I think Reshanda's pretty much secured a spot with the Lynx, but I was very glad to see Brit showing her stuff tonight; she sure shut up the Cal denigrators at Rebkell! The moment that she swiped the ball from veteran Angel McCoughtry and assisted a 3-pointer for the Liberty was classic Boyd at her best. The Liberty's coach, Bill Laimbeer, has publicly announced his faith in B.B. a couple of times, even proclaiming her something like "the point guard of the future" for New York.

Boyd with 4 steals
Love it

All three recruited by Boyle, albeit coached by Gottlieb. On the current Cal roster, Range is the likeliest to make it next, although her position at the WNBA is still to be determined (stretch 4? small forward 3 with post moves?).

Most impress with her 6-6 from the Foul line but 4 fouls in 19 minutes is not good but my guess Laimbeer doesn't mind her fouls if she is playing aggressively.

Boyd had a tremendous debut last night at MSG. Not only did she make all her FTs but she dropped a circus shot too.
She still looks like the fastest one on the court at the professional level and I was impressed with how comfortable she appeared on the court. I'm going to enjoy watching her blossom in a professional career.

It was clear on social media that Coach G enjoyed the night.

Yes, Brittany looked great. I certainly enjoyed reading the fan reaction on another forum, particularly those who'd discounted Boyd's potential. This is only the first game, but look for good things as she grows into the pro game. She seemed to feed off the atmosphere in the Garden and it was great to see Coach G there cheering her on. Layshia had a pretty decent night too....

Davis, an undrafted Storm free agent signee from University of Washington was waived by the Club. The former San Jose area prep guard played in the preseason, but the Storm is retooling under new HC Jennie Boucek going to an up tempo offense and swarming defense. Davis was competing with acquired NBA veterans, as well as the Storm's #1 and #3 overall WNBA draft picks, Jewell Loyd (Notre Dame) and Kaleena Mosqueda Lewis (UConn), for PT on the perimeter. The Storm has created roster space to possibly acquire other teams' waived players--likely front court players. Tonight, the Storm defeated the LA Spark, who were without Ogumike and Parker.

I saw that Jaz was waived but on the Storm website they had her listed as making the team - June 5. Then watching last nights game the announcer said something about two new players the Storm picked up and no mention of Davis. I was sure she was going to make the team. Hope she get picked up by one of the other WNBA teams before heading overseas. (assuming she will be playing in Europe/Asia)
Side note: WNBA Access is free until June 9, then less than $15.00 for the season - what a bargain and you can drag and drop games that are live, watch 2 to 4 games on split screen - I think it is a good deal. No, not a paid promo!

Davis and McIntyre were both waived by the Storm, but they've not announced adding players yet. They're probably scouring the list of waived players from other teams. I believe they'll add a post for rebounding and defense.

Yes, they added Angel Goodrich and Markeisha Gatling to the 12 player roster.

BB will have her ups and downs. Sat's game in 14 minutes 1-5, but 3 assist 2 steal but the bad - 3 fouls!!

Interesting pick-ups. Goodrich, a former KU star, is a 5'4" PG, who will presumably vie for the back-up spot to Sue Bird. Gatling, a 6'5" big body Center, who was cut by the Sky, will give the Storm a power player in the paint--a commodity the team currently lacks. With these two replacements for the waived Davis and McIntyre, I believe the team must still cut a player to meet the league roster limit. Good sleuthing, "tree".

Some interesting names of waived players: Ashley Paris; Amber Orrange
ClayK

Neither a surprise, really. Ashley just isn't quite good enough to play the four in the WNBA, and Orrange wasn't really considered of WNBA caliber.

Again, that league is really, really good, and often it's hard for those who don't follow it closely to grasp.
