Hello, Bears. I'm not sure how much you all are into women's basketball, but I figured we could enjoy this game together. Stanford up early so far.

Lady Volunteers look flatfooted right now.

Oh, this is sad, so far. The Vols are full of talent, but I've read some severe criticism of Holly Warlick's coaching. Now the question is whether her half-time adjustment skills match L.G.'s (not to mention Tara's).

There has been some intense criticism of Warlick's coaching methods, and while some of them may be justified, you can't help but think that a lot of it stems from the fact that Warlick is trying to escape the shadow of Pat Summitt. It is very difficult to follow a legend. I have heard many fans complain that there is no that intimidating presence that Summitt had, there is no stare (which she was known for), and she just doesn't have the same intensity that Summitt had.

Tennessee is getting back into it. Stanford's defense has been excellent.

Thanks Dr for the ongoing story.

Final score Stanford 69 Tennessee 55. Big stats look like FG% (50% to 32%), REB (41 to 33), and PF (12 to 25). The road is a tough place.
