Injuries are such an unfortunate wild card in sport. I hope it she can make it back if she is out the 6-8 weeks that a broken wrist would normally mandate.

Wiese was shooting 46% from the field and had a 2:1 assist/TO ratio. Her freshman replacement is shooting 36% and has a 1:1 assist/TO ratio. Not many teams can handle injuries or departures without a significant drop off in play. We are actually very fortunate that Asha Thomas is not playing like a freshman, and that she has already shown that she can show up big in the biggest of games.

That was against Cal Poly. The games she has been in against good teams show up in the lower season-long stats.

McWilliams will probably learn, just as Vital stepped up when Gray-Lawson went down with an ACL.

Awful for her. Would have to think this improves our chances of finishing in the top 2 in the league. Hope she heels.
