Didn't watch, but liked what a saw in the boxscore! 19 points off 7-8 shooting for Layshia (probably a career high) and playing a team-high 31+ minutes! Wow! From a role player off the bench in Indiana to Atlanta's floor general? Oh my!

Gray only got 11 minutes (likely because she was STILL fouling like the world was gonna end tomorrow in all prior games). This outing, only 1 foul and an excellent 11 points off 3-5 shooting w/ 7 boards!

One of Gray's main "competitors" for floor time is Elizabeth Williams (formerly of Duke), who only had 5 boards and 2 points in 15 minutes. If you saw that McDonald's All-American game back in 2011, it's AMAZING to recognize how much Gray has developed. Elizabeth Williams ate her alive back in 2011 (as well as every other post player that game) scoring at will, while Gray (earning an A for effort and showing a high motor) was still as raw as an uncooked steak. Besides the fouling, she certainly is a great example of good player development at Cal WBB.

Though Reshanda only played 2:41 with no pts and 1 rb. Layshia started and played 21:48 1 field goal and 3/4 from the FT but did have 6 rbs and 4 assist. Brittany 1-9 on her field goals 2rbs & 2 assist. in 15:45 of play. Not sure what kind of shots she was taking but she shooting still looks like a wip.
