The Bears should make a run on her...freshman from Mitty...legit! First offer was LSU...hope she stays home...need to keep her away from Tara and the Furds

Very good young player ... both father and mother are coaches.

I talked to her today and she seemed very nice, but it's hard to tell from brief interactions. Just a sophomore, but a very good player.

Clay, she is young but a freshman starter on a loaded Mitty team! She will be at top 100 recruit in the nation by the time she is a SR...tremendous upside with the young lady. Very smart too I hear!

I previously recommended here that Cal should pursue the youngster from Santa Cruz. Haley Jones can play SG, SF and PF. She was second or third on her team in EVERY statistical category. Her best position for the Monarchs as a frosh was
power forward. She can really jump. Haley (6-0) was #2 in rebounds & she blocked two of Salesian's 6-5 freshman center Angel Jackson's shots. Jones can also dribble and lead the fast break...Mitty returns 8 of their talented 9 player rotation next season. GO BEARS!!

Tara and the furd, maybe, but Cal needs to make sure Neighbors from UW doesn't swoop in to dragoon Jones for UW.

Before suiting up for Mitty, Jones did quite well at the U16 USA trials in 2015 as an 8th grader. I think she was one of just three or four 8th graders "still alive" at one point during the cuts, and I believe only one 8th grader advanced beyond that point. Cal-Hi Sports said Haley Jones was runner-up for their state FOY award behind Windward's Charisma Osborne. However, Cal-Hi Sports definitely gives the award to the rookie they feel had the best season, irrespective of how they project their potential as a college recruit (which of course is some time off). Hence, Josetta Fatuesi now at Utah was actually their FOY for that loaded California c/o 2014. Our KC Waters won it the year before.
