I think if a season ticket holder asks their account rep/Gold Standard rep, they will give you a clear plastic Cal tote. It's just the open-top kind, without any zipper or extra pockets. I went to guest services at the football game last Saturday and asked, and they gave me one.

I am a season ticket holder, but I think Cal should just give a bag to anyone who comes to a game, given that they've instigated this unreasonable requirement in the first place. It's cheaper than a metal detector, I suppose, at least in the short run.

(But I'm still thinking of the Bear Insider who comes to games straight from work; what will this person do with his/her laptop and other gear? I'm going to keep politely complaining and nagging, including to Joan, the Triple Threat lady.)
