I was surprised to see Natalie Romeo's name in the box score for Washington in their first game. I thought she would have had to sit out a year as a transfer. But she must have received some type of waiver from the NCAA. That will make UW a tougher team this year.

The NCAA granted Romeo's eligibility request the day of the game ... it had to do with the firing of the Nebraska coach, though I'm unclear on the details.

We might have been the only school to play on the road though a short trip. As far as degree of difficult where does SMC ranked vs the other Pac-12 foes?

I think we will find out when they play WSU next up there.
