I got an email from my sales rep and he think "it's going to be a packed house". I'm hoping for at least 8K which would be good considering these are the Holidays & school is out. What's your guess?

I would think 9K. It would be nice to break 10K.

PB You should have said "It would be nice to break 10K" and get the win. Hope today's performance will translate to better attendance for the Harvard & future games.

I guess I have a bad memory. I thought I recalled that one of our Stanford games back in the Gray-Lawson era was totally sold out, and that the crowd at that game looked bigger than this one.

I agree with Annharborbear. That Stanford game set a record for the biggest crowd to witness a woman's bball game in the state of California. And there were no empty seats in that one. Their were a few today.

Might women's BB become the 2nd revenue sport replacing Men's BB?

Let's see what their attendance is vs. Harvard.

10,818 per Cal. Haas Capacity, I believe, currently is 11,858

I heard them announce that attendance late in the game, but it certainly looked like there were more than 1000 empty seats. The attendance was impressive certainly, but they must be counting tickets sold, not the actual attendance.
And I agree with a few of the other posts, I recall a Stanfurd game that had at least as big a crowd as this one.

I'm not sure what the capacity of Haas is, but I'm always surprised how many people are walking around the arena during games (going to the bathroom, concessions, etc), but I agree 3 of the corners were sparse.

I remember that game--I think the one where Lexi Gray-Lawson was in some sort of super-zone and could not miss.

It took some digging, but I found a boxscore for the AGL game - BoxScore - albeit from that Junior University website.
It says attendance was 10,126 or about 600 less than the announced UConn game attendance.

But this article on the Cal website Cal article on AGL Game from the AGL game says the prior year - 2008 - had an attendance of 10,525 - confirmed here: 10525 see Cal lose by two in 2008
