IMHO Moore plays a bit like Kelsey Plum in that she's effective both outside and driving to the hoop. I thought we could have given her fewer open looks on threes, but then she probably is that good.

Moore is an All-American for a reason...

query for those that saw the entire game, is Moore that good (she looked pretty good against Ford) or is Cal D that bad?

She is good. Stanford held her to 17% shooting. We held her to 59%.

Back from the game. She is that good. Saw her play a lot in high school. A couple of those three pointers were from 40 feet. Her best game of the year. The rest of their team didn't do squat.

Brown is the energizer bunny. Incredible hustle.

So who were all these people who thought Overbeck was great. She has not had a great season and she didn't look great tonight.

Pretty good crowd for a rainy day. Kids had a great time at half time dancing.

Good question on Overbeck. She was an SEC All-Freshman player who once had 19 points and 11 rebounds against Kentucky. Also won a silver medal on the 2017 USA FIBA U19 team. Maybe some injury issues? Isn't running well and has little elevation.

Her stets last year were OK. But for a bad team you would expect more.

By the way, USC is averaging around 600 fans a game. Why do recruits want to go there?

Such a huge win for us... and in front of a great crowd! Tried scanning my eyes for any potential recruits or familiar faces but did not see any. Hope I am wrong... would be a great game to attend.

A sweep next week at the Arizona's gets us right back on track. We just have to be FOCUSED and adequately PREPARED (hi coaching staff) for a stifling ASU defense and blazing hot McDonal (U of A). Go BEARS

Also... Forbes now hitting 38 percent from 3 after a cold start to the season. Her shot is looking b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l right now. Will be key for us in Pac 12 play.

We took a couple of premature shots and USC just gave Moore the ball with instructions to head to the hoop. Maybe we should double team her?
Yeh, and the Pope professes to be Catholic.

ps.....Ladies played very well today...

So #24 for both teams is "Caldwell"
Apparently USC #24 is Desiree Caldwell, Recee's little sister.

From her USC bio:

Desiree "Desi" Anayi Caldwell was born July 26, 2000 in Murrieta, Calif... The daughter of Ray and Alba... Has one sister, Recee', who played basketball at Texas Tech and is now a grad transfer playing at Cal... Enjoys reading and watching movies in her free time... Lists Colin Kaepernick as her biggest sports hero... Majoring in business and hopes to pursue a career in real estate.
