No question. But it might be easier to get there if they were to beat Furd and get a better seeding in the Tournament. I read somewhere that Cal is projected as a 7 seed, putting them in line to have to beat a 2 seed to reach the Sweet 16.blungld said:

I think it's a tough call, but if I had to chose, I would take the Sweet 16...or Elite 8!
The 12 seed provides the easiest second game to get to the Sweet 1 in that you end up playing the 5th seed. and then the 4th. An initial 6th gets you a 3rd seed in the second game. This year not much difference between the 3rd and 4th seeds. Its the 1st,second and some of the third you need to avoid. Actually except for the top few teams, match ups will be more important than seeding.philbert said:No question.
