I e-mailed Amie Callaway at Cal WBB asking about a bracket-watch party; she responded, "Yes, we will be holding a watch party, but details are still being finalized with the venue. Info will be passed along as soon as it is set."

Thanks BB,

Let us know if it's open to Bear Backers, or other Cal Fans. Would be fun to attend whatever our seed is.

We're probably looking at the dreaded 8/9 seed because we haven't caught any substantial breaks from the teams just ahead of us.

St. Mary's lost in double overtime to Gonzaga today, which would have made us look better. If BYU beats the Zags tomorrow (for the third time this season) they may jump ahead of us on the brackets.

It's all just entertainment, so find a way to enjoy it.
The refs are there to feed your hatred addiction and keep the games close.

Here you go. From Cal Women's Basketball earlier today:

This event is free and open to the public. The Cal Women's Basketball Team will arrive at Cornerstone at 3:30 PM and the selection show will begin at 4:00 PM.

For those unable to attend, tune into ESPN to find out Cal's tournament destination and opponent. The First and Second Rounds will be played March 22nd - 25th.

Twits.

Nice turn-out at Cornerstone. despite ESPN's silliness. Asha was her usual solemn self, but everyone else seemed fairly up-beat; Kristine was quite cheerful toward the end. (And we have now an autographed growth chart for the British grandkids, to keep their Reshanda chart company.)
