Impressive list. Cal offers her an excellent education, a dynamic coaching staff and the opportunity to compete against top-notch athletes in the best WBB conference.

At 6'4" and with an acknowledged rapidly developing game Fatou Samb could become an extremely important 2020 recruit. Her height and skill set would likely be appreciated by Cal's other coveted "Big" recruit 6'2" Jordyn Jenkins.

Fatou Samb could quickly become Cal's best rebounding and defensive talent. She has the potential to meaningfully reduce the current talent disparity in the PAc-12. Fatou's commitment would be significant to Jordyn Jenkins because Fatou would promote Jordyn use out on the wing where her superior court awareness, ball handling and offensive skills would help her accept an offensive leadership role.

Wake Forest is certainly an outlier on that list. Last year under Jen Hoover, they went 10-20 overall and 1-15 in their conference.

Don't know about her timing, but we could really use a first domino to fall to get things rolling.

Here's hoping Charmin & Co. land both Samb and Jenkins.

Some arguably/potentially good news: one of Samb's final 5, Michigan, received a verbal today from a 6'4" in-state post Whitney Sollom ranked #97 ESPN and #77 Prospects Nation. Not sure their # of openings but Sollom brings Michigan's c/o 2020 to four already.
