So what happened to Oregon State? Looks like a lot of swing and misses this year.Schroeder71 said:
Oregon and Stanford have been dominating the conference recruiting for the last three years or so...UCLA & Oregon State have probably been the next two schools. Arizona & Utah seem to be climbing the ladder over the last 1-2 years. Hopefully-Cal is now in position to join the recruiting competition on a regular basis. GO BEARS!
Lynn Roberts is a good coach. 20-10 record last year. Last two recruiting classes have been headed by a highly-ranked in-state player from Utah. Other top player this year, McFarland, is out of a similar environment - Boise. Also seem to have a well-developed Canadian pipeline.HoopDreams said:

Oregon State was not in the Top 20 classes because they only signed two, players. But both were wing players ranked in the Prospect Nation Top 100.GOLDEN said:So what happened to Oregon State? Looks like a lot of swing and misses this year.Schroeder71 said:

She probably is a very good coach -- but I'm sure some posters on this board would already be calling for her firing after an 0-3 OOC start this year (as well as last year's late-season collapse to miss the NCAA tournament)....annarborbear said:Lynn Roberts is a good coach. 20-10 record last year. Why we would ask for her firing ..since she isn't our coach? In fact we would hope she stays on, so that we can beat them. I think she does well for the material she has to work with.really said:She probably is a very good coach -- but I'm sure some posters on this board would already be calling for her firing after an 0-3 OOC start this year (as well as last year's late-season collapse to miss the NCAA tournament)....annarborbear said:Lynn Roberts is a good coach. 20-10 record last year. Roberts only makes $275,000 a year. For that, she is an absolute bargain.OBear073akaSMFan said:Why we would ask for her firing ..since she isn't our coach? Is she working with plaids or stripes? Cuz when it comes to material, I prefer SOLIDS!!OBear073akaSMFan said:Why we would ask for her firing ..since she isn't our coach?
