Two games against Baylor and a game against Oklahoma in Hawaii. Talk about a tough weekend in paradise!

The Hawaii tournament has Cal face Hawaii twice, Baylor twice & Oklahoma once. Where's the traditional cupcake that is usually part of the field. Easy OOC games? The Bears will have to play well to defeat any of these teams. GO BEARS!

They'll easily beat Hawaii. Hawaii is not very good (any longer).

So when did we stop going to the Mary Nutter tournament in Palm Springs?? I was hoping to go to watch them there and see a bunch of the Pac 12 teams...

Schedule seems kind of cup-cakey to me. Last year Cal finished with an RPI of 91. I'm assuming this team is much better, RPI wise then last year's team. Say we're about 60 this year. Here's our OOC SCHEDULE opposing teams 2020 RPI along with my prediction:

San Diego 232 W, Dixie St. 222 W, Ole Miss 26 L, CS Fullerton 78 W, CSU 111 W, I'll. St. 59 L, Port St. 216 W W, Minn 41 L, UTEP 241 W, St. Mary's 227 Fresno St. WW, Mt. St. Mary's WWPacific 250 W, Boston 54 W, SDS 87 W, BYU 55 L, San Diego 232 W, UC Sd 214 W, Baylor 44 W, Haw 200 W, Baylor 44 L, OU 1 L, Haw 200 W Sacramento St. 20? W UC Davis 209 W Miami Oh 38 LWL
That's 23-8 for 31 OOC games before and during conference play.

That early matchup against Ole Miss will be a great test to see where we are.

We need to be able to put up runs against SEC level pitching.

That's 19-8 for 27 OOC games before and during conference play.

So far I'm right on the money. Only lost by 1 to top 25 team. Next week's tough tests will be I'll. State and Minn. Both top 5o in last year's RPI.
