The Bears pass a big test. Down late in the 4th by a goal, they rallied to force OT and win by 1. A third shot at 'furd coming up.

Yes- Bears were ahead 6-5 but then yielded three consecutive Rainbow goals. It looked bleak but then Cal fought back bigtime. GO BEARS!

The Bears had similar outcome against furd today and are now 11-3 with all 3 losses to furd. They get UCLA tomorrow with a chance to improve ranking.

Great defense to hold UCLA to seven goals!

Huge win for this group! Unfortunately I just posted on the other thread...love the defense and holding the baby bears' senior group to 3-13 shooting. So awesome to not have to come from behind like so many times over the past few years for this team. Build on this and get closer to the 'Furds!

After six weeks of tournament play we have a good picture of how the top teams stack up. 'Furd is 12-0 and 4-0 against the next 3 teams. SC is 12-1, 2-0 vs UCLA with the only loss to 'furd in a nail bitter with the winning goal coming with 10 seconds left in regulation. Cal is 12-3, all losses to 'furd and a convincing win over UCLA. UCLA is 12-3 with 3 losses to SC and Cal. Hawaii is 11-2 with loses to UCLA and Cal in OT.

My call is UCLA has fallen out of the top 3 leaving a top 2 and a next 3, then everyone else not even close to the top 5.
