Leaving Cal baseball out of the regionals was a pathetically biased decision

Cal not getting in is a complete joke.

There has never been a Pac team with at least 36 wins, 19 or less losses and at least 17 conference wins that hasn't made the tournament.

They went 20-5 in their last 25 games. They lost 1st team All-Pac-12 player Jarren Advincula to injury for the last game. He would've been back for regionals They had 21 overall conference opponent wins (17 in conference play, 2 in the P12 tournament, 2 midweek)

The schedule was created to be challenging, including the MLB Tournament in Arizona (beat Kansas St and Georgetown), the Las Vegas Tournament -Oklahoma game canceled due to weather (13 RPI), UConn - the 2023 Big East champions (Cal swept), San Jose State - 2023 Mountain West champions. KSU and UConn -who Cal beat - are in the tourney.

They were obviously penalized for midweek games in their bus radius (USF, UOP)

They have Caleb Lomavita - the best catcher in the country, PJ Moutzouridis and Jarren Advincula- the most talented middle infielder freshman duo in the country. They have another top prospect and one of the top power hitters in the country in RJ Green and six players hitting over .300.

The Pac has only had less than 4 teams one time since 1999 in 2009 with only 3 teams. Arizona was the closest to the fourth bid but were only 30-25 (13-14 conference)

The program researched and presented everything to the committee. There is a precedent for what's determined the conference bids and the committee disgracefully ignored that precedent.

+1

Very disheartening especially when you see a 28-27 Florida team get in purely because of their conference affiliation.

Thanks MB.

Just remember - SEC rules the sports world!
The academic world? They are there in the cesspool.

The SEC and ESPN are in a constant state of 69. It's really pathetic and unfair. Eff them all.
