Baseball is really the case of the haves and the have nots, maybe more than any other sport. Since we have very little NIL for players, talented young core for Mike Neu gets raided. Oliver Boone to Kentucky, Trey Newmann to TCU, Ian May to UCLA and Peyton Schulze to Texas Tech.

Boone, Newmann and Schulze got really good money while May has a girlfriend at UCLA and is from Southern California.

We have picked up Carl Schmidt (INF) from Texas A&M and Alex Birge (C) from Wichita State.

I'm sorry but NIL sucks for the school but great for the athletes. I can see many colleges start to eliminate many of these olympic sports... depressing.
