where the f*** is the 2025 roster???? I sent an email to the communication director of the XC team but nothing but crickets. I know this will be a tough season for them but give the sport some pride. You even got spring sport teams ie softball. posting their roster. This is a ridiculous. .

Hi OBear073, I am a casual fan of XC (my HS daughter is running XC) but can you please clarify what you are referring to about the 'tough year'? Is it related to the new NCAA NIL / roster limits rules, etc? Is Cal reducing the number of XC roster spots? I see the Cal website does list the 2025 XC roster now but I see 14 women listed on 2024 and also 14 for 2025...

Not sure about the roster limits or NIL but other teams have larger rosters but then other schools could have less than our 33 (sp) sport teams. Only saying it was a long season with us losing many of our top runners from last year and recruiting especially on the women side seems sparse. Our runners really have to have a big step up in their pb. Was hoping that Justin Petre, brother Landon Pretre would commit to us but most likely got better offer from Wake Forrest. Maybe others closer to the program can comment how they feel about the team.
