Wow. I didn't see this. Went to check out the Tennis Roster for 25-26 and all of a sudden noticed that Amanda was no longer the head coach but Kris Kwinta was the interim coach. Amanda was coach for 18 years & of course she was an All-American player here too. However, for personal reasons she has decided to resign. Cal has loss a terrific coach.

I missed this as well. I remember playing tennis with her as an undergraduate. I really liked her. I hope to handle this better than the Peter Wright retirement.

I do not know how Coach Kwinta can physically handle both jobs...

It's an interim position. My guess they are looking for a replacement. Wasn't coach Amanda an interim coach for the men team too when coach Wright or whomever succeeded him left?

I guess that assistant coach and former star player, Stephanie Kusano Wallace, doesn't want the HC job. Maybe Cal will do a national search.

I did not see this. She is a delightful person whom I met at the Cal-Colorado matches in Boulder. She had been promised that her position was going to be endowed - but that hasn't happened yet. The team started rough last year but she righted the ship and got to the superregionals at NCAA.
