2025-26 Women's Tennis Roster - California Golden Bears Athletics

Cal has graduated five seniors from its eleven-player roster so this might be a rebuilding year under a new head coach. The Bears now have seven foreigners on their nine-member team. GO BEARS!

Xu vs. Mushika right now in the ITA Regional Semi. Xu won the first set 6-3. Mushika spraying errors.

Xu looks improved from last year. Stronger, with more sting on her shots, which will help her play up higher on the ladder.

Cal lost a lot from last year, so this looked like a rebuilding year. But if Xu and Berta (who also made the semis) both improved, and a couple newcomers can contribute, Cal could maintain top-20 status.

Where do you find the scores? I go to the tournament site, and I see who's playing, but no score.

Hi,

On the Calbears.com site, go to the Women's Tennis page, the the Hellman Livestream (either embedded in an article or on the righthand side, under More). You can watch all home matches (men's and women's) here.

Btw, Xu pulled it out in 3. This means she qualified for the NCAA Championships in singles. Mushika and Passola Folch will likely get another chance to qualify in a couple of November tournaments.

The rain delay is over and I think they'll play the doubles final soon--winner qualifies for the NCAA Championship tourney.

Xu lost to Stanford's Ahn 0 and 1 in the final. Ahn is good, but Xu looked like she had nothing left after her battle with Mushika (and being forced to play her semifinal this morning due to rain yesterday afternoon).

Cal (Mushika and Greco Lucchina) squeaked out a win in doubles (12-10 in the super tiebreak), over the 2 seeded team from WSU. Bears fell behind 8-4 but stuck with it, helped by two lovely lobs from Greco Lucchina. WSU then got tight at the end.

Overall, a great tourney for the Bears.
