Nice win for the Bears on the road against Pittsburgh. Scored 10 runs in the 4th ended in the 7th with a mercy rule.

Nice start in the 2nd game, leading 3-0 after 1 inning.. Think hitting is okay but it will be the pitching that they need to come through.

Cal going for the sweep today and ww well on the way leading 8-1 going into the bottom of the 3rd. A grand slam by Hidecki French in the 3rd was the big blow.

Even with the sweep, Cal is at the bottom of the ACC standings. Need to go on the hot streak in order to make the ACC playoffs (I believe the top 12 teams out of 16 will make playoffs). Last year they got on the hot streak towards end of the season to make the playoffs, of course they don't have 3 of their top hitters from last year who chose the transfer route. Still lots of games to play before the end of the season but need to continue their momentum .
