Cal will be up against some big time programs this week and on the road to boot.

Friday vs #2 Pittsburgh starting at 4PM (PST) and will be shown on the ACCNX (ESPN+).

Sunday vs #5 SMU starting at 11am (PST). The game will be shown on the ACC network!! (826 Xfinity).

This will be a challenging week. Of course I want them to win but If not I want the games to be at least be competitive. These games will truly show how much the team has improved.

Great they show the links to the Pitt game (stats & video) but nothing for the SMU game. ***!!

Cal has loss the first 2 sets, 25-19, 25-16 which has been pretty normal for our team. Lets see if they can rally like previous games.

Cal loses 3 -0. Games not close but not bowouts either. As expected. Have a chance Sunday to make it closer.

I love how the recap includes no box score AND no mention of the scores of each set.

It's ****ty! Sometimes just get a link to stats but it's a 4 clicks to get there. 1)You click the link, 2) it goes to the main calender of all sports 3) all previous games are listed and you have to scroll to the 'next' page. Finally step 4 there is the stat link. Person setting this up should be fired alone with the petson approving this!

I wrote in a few hours ago mentioning all of the above information and what do you know... it finally got done. Raising issues and holding people accountable works!

SMU is going to be a tough test. They handled Stanford with ease last night. 25-22, 25-13, 25-16. One of their middles hit .909 last night (not a typo!)

Cal wins first set

Cal looked good winning the 1st set, 25-19. SMU is tremendously athletic, but the Bears are countering with great serves and passing on their offense. Only two errors committed by Cal in initial set. I'm watching it on Xfinity ch # 826. GO BEARS!
