Yesterday Cal's Women team came in 5th plc in the Western Regionals beating some of the higher ranked teams. Cal was led by 10th plc Bethan Knights & 11th plc Brie Oakley. Both would have automatically qualified for the Final Championship as individuals not as a team. The were on pins & needles until today where they hope the team would get an at-large spot. Congrats as the team this morning heard the women as gotten one of the at large spots to run in the championships. First time in 5 years. Congrats to them.


The men's team came in 9th place but it was better than expected. Cal managed to advance two runners as individuals into the NCAA 'ships in 1 week , Trent Bendel #13 & Garrett Corcoran #15

I think they're in at this point? Great to see that, Bree had her best race hanging with Bethan, and Marissa seems to be back. Curiously, no Robert Brandt (Cal transfer) at UCLA. Really solid runs for Garret and Trent.
