I remember Kaleigh years ago when Trump was just getting started. Incredible ability for debate, to counter the CNN host and Other Side guest. It was maddening to listen to her spin yarns, but I figured that was what the SURROGATE job entailed. But then when she took the official job and INCREASED her rhetoric and lies I lost my cookies.

Today there is this article showing her return to her previously scheduled life, and it made me so happy.

Yeah, I went and made a couple tequila sunrises after my last post.
Unfortunately, the show ended at 7:00.
It's just as well - I already have a slight headache as is.
But, yeah, what a great day that was!

Highlights were, in no particular order:/

• Jen Ptaki,
• Klobuchar MOC at the Capitol
• 3 Presidents talking about peaceful transition of power (Gee, who was missing - what a FACE - that was simply amazing, and I hope Trump was watching.)
• Fireworks over the mall. Have I mentioned that we used to live at 1401 N. Oak St. two blocks behind the Iwo Jima, and had THE MOST spectacular view of DC? The 4th of Julys were AMAZING. I'll post a stock image of our exact view below.
• Trump's quiet and embarrassing slink out of town, including "we left it all on the field - we won't be sitting in Florida thinking 'if only we had done such and such'. We couldn't have worked harder". Oh yes, you will FOREVER be second guessing yourself. And THAT is your prison. You are not only a LOSER, but a HATED LOSER!!!! Now GTFO! And then we didn't hear from him again all day - hallelujah!!!!!

It was as if I was back home.
What a fortunate life I have lived.
And goodness has returned, prevailed.
The kingdom is back in good hands - evil has been defeated. The pallor draped over the city is gone. Still with problems, challenges, yes - but the spell is broken. Ahhhh, breathe the fresh air!
