Of course. Just saying he sucks, and that's why one of the stars of Sex and the City put a fright into him when she ran for governor a few years ago.

I listened to a 2 hour interview with him on The Howard Stern Show, and he was great. Really smooth and charismatic. But then you realize how terrible he is (I follow a lot of New Yorkers on Twitter.)

Have to applaud the state AG--a Democrat--for bringing this to the public's attention. The problem is he sold high when he published his self-congratulatory book. Class action for refunds coming?

I make a point of trying to avoid New York news. Our national news is largely based out of New York and is obsessed with New York. You know it's funny. The media last year was swooning over how Cuomo handled the pandemic and attacking the Florida governor's handling of it. Hm - I wonder why? Could it be because one was a Democrat and the other a Republican? In other words...the media was playing politics with the pandemic to shape their political narrative.

Guess what? Cuomo's handling of the pandemic has now been proven to be a complete disaster (he should be charged with manslaughter) thanks to a traditionally conservative newspaper (NY Post) and Florida is actually light years ahead of NY.

No one here can do much about media coverage, but it seems to me that even the left-leaning folks on this board were pretty critical of Cuomo for being slow to respond in the early days of the COVID crisis. This new report just seems to confirm those criticisms.

Cuomo's career should be over, and the media should revisit their journalistic integrity and bias in fawning over a man over his handling of COVID-19 and transparency when he is clearly one of the bad ones.

I wrote early on here that friends from the Hamptons were telling me that Chris Cuomo was out and about when he presented to the world how he was secluding himself in his basement. And his stupid back and forth with this brother Andrew was shameful.

Never want to hear from either one of them on how we should behave. Tired of people behaving badly when the cameras are off and then lecturing to us on how to behave. Really what is needed is honesty on death certificates.
For a variety of reasons, mostly monetary or insurance reasons,
Death Certificates don't necessarily reflect the cause of death, and nobody checks.
Somehow I don't think nursing homes anywhere were accurately reporting Covid-19
deaths.

For example, My father and wife died in extended care facilities.
My father had terminal melanoma, cause of death instead was recorded as cardio vascular failure.
My wife died from radiation Pneumonitis which had caused her lungs to stop extracting oxygen, but cause of death was stage one lung cancer instead of the radiation treatment for lung cancer.

I am sure that Covid deaths and infections have been under-reported, from the patient to the White House.
Better to fix the system than look for scapegoats.

Of course, he trounced her -- just like Biden easily crushed Bernie. But would you argue that Bernie didn't put in a scare on the Biden campaign?

Usually, an incumbent who wins 65% of the vote means that he really shouldn't have to do anything to win re-nomination. But he had to take her seriously. She put him on the defensive. She was in his head. He had to work hard to win re-nomination, which resulted in stumbles and controversies. He became more left-leaning.

He had a fiery debate with Nixon, where he was boxed into saying "I will serve four years as governor of the state of New York" if he wins re-election. If he had known he'd easily beat her, he could've allowed himself some wiggle room. If he had run for president in 2020, he would've had to announce in early 2019, which means spending much of 2018 planning a presidential run -- instead, he spent most of 2018 fending off Miranda from Sex and the City.

So yes, she put a scare in him. This wasn't an easy cruise to winning the Democratic primary.

I haven't stopped foot in the state of New York (or on the East Coast) for that matter since the 1980s when I was a kid, yet I know how horrible Cuomo has been for years.

Why? Because a lot of liberal reporters have covered all of his problems. That's why in the thread I mentioned above, Cuomo had a tough time fending off Cynthia Nixon. Because he received a lot of negative media coverage.

The print media has been on his a** for years. But the TV media is a different story, and that's why he received so much positive press last year. Because he was a contrast to Trump.

As for DeSantis, even you have to admit he's behaved like an a**. If he wasn't so blatant an a-hole, he wouldn't receive so much negative coverage.
