Maybe just maybe if the police stop murdering people over and over for the last 200+ yrs this wouldn't happen.
I guess they are supposed lynched then grin and smile and yes sir massa.
The point wasn't whether stealing Nikes solves anything. It doesn't. They should stop stealing Nikes. The point is that between a man shot to death by the police, and some people stealing Nikes, you thought the important thing to decry was stealing Nikes. You can't even bring yourself to a both sides argument of "the cop shouldn't have shot him, but they also shouldn't steal Nikes". Nope. To you it is only Nikes that matter.BearForce2 said:going4roses said:

Don't be silly, stealing Nikes does not solve anything.

I know you typed that, looked in the mirror, raised your fists and yelled "WINNING!!!", but you really look like an imbecile when you post things like that.BearForce2 said:OaktownBear said:The point wasn't whether stealing Nikes solves anything. Nope. The shooting incident was posted in the Police thread. Stealing Nikes has nothing to do with the shooting, unless you see a correlation.

I guess the guy had it coming to him? Got what he deserved? That's the logical conclusion from the racist Twitter troll that you endorse. I'm glad you and Andy got your rocks off together. Don't forget to wash your hands.
Neither does killing an unarmed 20-year-old. You know the car and the address it is registered to. Why shoot? Why stop the car for something hanging from the rear-view mirror?BearForce2 said:going4roses said:

This must be the dumbest police officer in the history of policing. Your taser gun has a yellow tip on it and is higher on your equipment belt and person. It looks different and feels different to prevent a mix-up. Must be a nice consolation to that man's mother that the officer made a mistake and now her son is dead. Don't worry, "My Bad".BearForce2 said:

It's a terrible tragedy. Yes he shouldn't be trying to avoid arrest, but I think we can all agree we should expect our officers to know the difference between a taser and .45 even in situations you're panicking. Pretty easy case of manslaughter. Anybody know how long she had been on the force?BearNIt said:This must be the dumbest police officer in the history of policing. The cop in the U.S. Army lieutenant case in Virginia looked like he was older and had been around a long time.
Yet he had trouble communicating effectively and was overly aggressive and emotional and escalated a situation at a time that called for de-escalation -- all of which seemed counter to the basics of being a cop.
