UCLA has just fired Professor Klein, Law professor at UCLA.

His crime???
He refused to give black students easier exams than other students.
He refused to accommodate the reverse racists masquerading as virtuous dispensers of justice.
He has sued UCLA.

He needs to win and win big..He needs to honor MLK who called for no discrimination at all based on race, color, religion or creed. Everyone needs to be treated equally. Affirmative action ( reverse racism) destroyed the creed of MLK. He has been rolling over in his grave for these many years. Out of many...one. Not out of one many. Please see the Balkans if you want to see what happens to a country which has hundreds of different tribes, etc. We need badly to unite the country---not divide the country according to identify politics which is perhaps the greatest poison ever foisted upon a people.

This is the letter that got him in trouble:

"Thanks for your suggestion in your email below that I give black students special treatment, given the tragedy in Minnesota. Do you know the names of the classmates that are black? How can I identify them since we've been having online classes only? Are there any students that may be of mixed parentage, such as half black-half Asian? What do you suggest I do with respect to them? A full concession or just half? Also, do you have any idea if any students are from Minneapolis? I assume that they probably are especially devastated as well. I am thinking that a white student from there might be possibly even more devastated by this, especially because some might think that they're racist even if they are not. My TA is from Minneapolis, so if you don't know, I can probably ask her. Can you guide me on how you think I should achieve a "no-harm" outcome since our sole course grade is from a final exam only? One last thing strikes me: Remember that MLK famously said that people should not be evaluated based on the 'color of their skin.' Do you think that your request would run afoul of MLK's admonition? Thanks, G. Klein"

By the way, I didn't see that he was fired.

He was placed on administrative leave in June 2020 following an email he sent to students rejecting their suggestions for grading accommodations for Black students in his class. He was later reinstated by September 2020.

He was not fired. Woke UCLA students had a petition with 20,000 signatures demanding he be fired. Three days after his email, he was suspended. He was reinstated after three plus months. He lost more than half of his annual income because he lost corporate and law firm consulting contracts.

His email was to a student in response to their email asking that black students have a no harm final exam, meaning it can raise their grade but not lower it. The professor did nothing publicly. Rather, his email should be considered him teaching his student. What UCLA did was clearly wrong.

Some things are controlled locally by the city or county, other things are controlled at the state or federal level and cities can't change them.

So, Los Angeles would require voter ID if they could? That is highly doubtful. This appears to be faulty logic and some sort of false equivalence.

Nice try to put words in my mouth. I didn't say Los Angeles would require voter ID. I merely pointed out that it's not something they can control.

I know that you are not saying l.a. would require voter ID. You are actually now proving BF's point. It's all good.

BF's point was about racism. I don't see how I proved anything was racist in my posts. Anyway, I'm good to let this drop now.
