Trump reduced SALT (a tax increase for me) while lowering my taxes overall. Build Back Better is estimated to increase SALT (a tax cut for me) while raising taxes on average people like me by $230. SALT is a subsidy for schools and roads.

I support reinstatement of SALT deductions because they were eliminated as a way to pay for a huge tax break for the wealthy and corporations.

The fact that eliminating them paid for the tax cut just goes to show that it wasn't a significant deduction for the 1%.

I shouldn't have to bear the cost of the GOP's massive tax cuts benefiting billionaires.
