It's interesting to point out that there are several threads that have been initiated by Hell to Pay where no one has even bothered to reply. The Circle of Jerks . . . appears to be getting smaller and smaller.

At times in the past, Helltopee has shown he gets disturbed if no one replies to his drivel, so I'm trying to stay away from commenting on his stuff. Sometimes I can't help myself though. He clearly doesn't care what anyone else thinks and it really is wasted effort to talk with him.

I'm new to this OT stuff.
It sure is an interesting "goulash" of posters.

But after awhile, I guess you figure out the cast of characters and the people that arent genuinely interested in discussing a topic. They just throw up meme's and tweets and tik-tok videos hoping that something will stick. And then you come to realize that posters like Going for Roses use the same "tricks of the troll" as people like HTP and BearForce do.

Once you realize this, it actually becomes quite boring.
And the circle of jerks becomes quite small.

If I'm 84 years old and still posting here....

Who's letting non-citizens vote? That's a felony.

Free health care to undocumented immigrants?

It astonishes me that throughout U.S. history, Capitalists, in search of cheap (or free) Labor, bring people to this country to do work, but refuse to be responsible in any way for their impact on society, and can't bring themselves to contribute to their human needs.

Do you want to live in a healthy society, or a disease-ridden one? There's your answer.

OK, again -- when you're making accusations of Voter Fraud or Election Fraud -- which are both felonies -- back it up. I'm more than willing to provide hard evidence of Election Fraud on the GOP side, of which you apparently aren't aware -- but let's see the evidence. NOT hearsay, NOT affidavits, NOT accusations. Evidence.

If a city or state decides they want to have non-citizens vote in their city or state elections, who am I to say 'No'?

You did read that those non-citizens are still prohibited from voting for any Federal office, didn't you?

For foreign nationals in the U.S., there's two ways to go:
  • allow them to work, under a visa, and to have rights to education & medical care (like Medicare For All); OR
  • don't allow them to work if they don't have a work visa, and punish employers who hire them.

Think about it. The best way to have a government that serves a solid majority of its residents is for those residents to select the people who represent them, and approve the laws that apply to them.

For Federal Elections, the 15th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, makes it clear: "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude."

I agree. Having all >18 citizens vote gives democracy its best shot.

Two problems, though:
  • GA, TX, SC, & several other states are denying legally-registered U.S. Citizens the right to vote. That's a problem.
  • Having large numbers of foreign nationals living & working in the U.S., without political representation or power, leads to exploitation & abuse. Capital, and both political parties, have benefited from this exploitation.
  • For most of the last 20 (or 40) years, having large numbers of foreign nationals adding to the surplus of Labor, at both ends of the skilled & unskilled ends of the employment spectrum, has led to a Great Divide in Labor. Workers who are in competition with each other are much more difficult to organize. That's why today's "Labor Shortage" has brought a wave of union organization, and some hope of finally re-balancing the huge imbalance of economic & political power in Capital's favor.
