Otherwise for my daily survival I have to assume the worst in every single possible encounter
Sadly, that seems to be the only thing you're good at.
That's one helluva way to wake up every morning.

London Breed salary: $351K ($452K with the bennies)

Eric Adams salary: $259K

Heck, our city truck drivers and city plumbers make nearly as much at the Mayor of New York.

Here is one big reason why San Francisco isn't saving itself. Read and weep:

Quite frankly, the outrageous compensation in the public sector is nothing new.
If you've been paying attention, you wont be surprised by the salaries and overtime pay.
And if you havent been paying attention . . .

2020 salaries for San Francisco | Transparent California

And it's not just in San Francisco County.

Here in Contra Costa County we have 6 Medical Directors that have a base salary of $347,382.02 and they receive on average, another $126,000 in "other pay". - - - Add in the Director of Health Services (Anna Roth) with her base pay of $399,000 and you have 7 people in the County Health Department accounting for over $3.2 million a year.

Dont even get me started on what these people will be receiving when retired with their pension.

Drug = cause of death = murdering racist pigs

Fixed it for you
George Floyd died with fentanyl in his system. Hunter Biden is still alive.

Police are nothing more than a murdering terrorist occupying force. Remember slave patrols ?

What are the similarities between these two issues?

Both white and black communities want more police presence, not less.

Confirmation bias is strong and in my experience, whether looking for the best in people or the worst, one tends find what they want to find. Perspective matters.

Being Good at ?

Or live/deal with on a daily basis …

Being Good at implies "choice" right ?

You as well as a few others apparently can't comprehend there could be any truth to the experience of which I speak of as if its made up. It's not a choice, it has been this way
thus I am subjugated to ws. Remember it doesn't go away just because you deny it but at the same time never experience it negatively. So how can you see it ? This is not your lane
How (are) you gonna win when you ain’t right within…

Agreed 100%

It's like driving a car with a 5-speed manual transmission and being "stuck" in 1st gear every day.

I guess some people take "comfort" in being stuck. It doesnt matter to them that there are other "gears" to explore in life.

Perspective matters.

He just started this year. Columbia previously had Democratic mayors the past 30 years plus.

That's even worse. The Republican mayor takes over and the murder rate immediately skyrockets.

He must work very efficiently. Probably has a few connections in high places too.
