I don't think it will be anything close to the men's and women's divisions. It would just be a way for trans women to participate and have their achievements acknowledged without directly competing against those they have a biological advantage over. Many sports that involve timed events or distances or feats of strength can be done in line with cisgender events ( or separately if not feasible), but the results can be compared against other trans women.

I generally agree with this post. Glad you are posting with this personality as opposed to the one that blasted me a few weeks ago for daring to propose there were enough trans athletes to have their own division. You outright mocked and clowned me for it like a complete jerk. I like this personality better.

Ok, I will take you off ignore.
Thanks for the compliment.

The fact remains . . . that there arent nearly enough trans athletes to have their own Division.
This is why the CIF simply lays back and does nothing more than follow AB-1266.
I'm hoping that things will change in the future, on both these counts.
Because I'm all for participation in one of the greatest prep sports
that there is. It's one of the few co-ed sports that there is and
it helps kids develop social skills and friendships.

But it's wrong because it winds up hurting BOTH sides.
And it's clearly a violation of the spirit of Title IX.

So my suggestion is for the CIF to stop ***** footing around and create an Open Division.
There really is something to be said for, "Build it and they will come."

In this way we get to celebrate diversity in an inclusive fashion.
And also protect the rights of girls under Title IX . . . who are competing at the highest level with an opportunity for an athletic scholarship.
Hang on. Do you really think there will be enough trans athletes to make an "Open" division viable? In any sport?

No.
But it seems like youre missing my point when it comes to CIF Track & Field.

Whether 2 athletes compete in the Girls 100m or 6 , , , it doesnt matter.
Just offer the event as an "open" division and you kill two birds with one stone.
Title IX is protected and so is being inclusive.

Things like numbers and facts and percentages are just totally confusing for you. In your world, it would seem that anything more than "one" equals "a lot".

And the very suggestion that all these trans women athletes are transitioning so they can win more is not only unbelievably insensitive, but also extremely stupid.

So everyone would run at the same time and then you post results for boys/girls/open separately?

He has no clue. He is making up a solution for a problem that barely exists. Just virtue signaling by Republican bigots who don't like anything that confuses them or makes them uncomfortable, so the turn trans people into pedophile groomers and/or opportunistic athletes looking for a wins.

Why are you stating that I suggested that trans women athletes are transitioning so they can m win more? You are being unbelievably confused, insensitive, and extremely stupid (and angry).

No.
An entirely separate race.
They already do this at the State Meet for a "Unified" Division and a "Para" Division.
It's not for every event though. Just for selected events.

Not true at all.

And if you were aware of the guidelines at the NCAA and World Athletics and World Swimming levels, you'd know how this issue is being dealt with.

For example, at the World Swimming level if you havent transitioned by age 12, you are not allowed to compete. Period.

Are you saying that you wouldnt have a problem if your "cis" daughter came in 4th at a Section Meet (only Top 3 go to State) and a competitor who placed ahead of her in the Top 3 was a "trans-girl" who had previously competed on the boys team in 2021?

You wouldnt feel like your daughter's opporunity was being taken away to compete with the BEST in the STATE?

It would be no big deal to you that Title IX was being violated?

And that D-1 coaches werent able to see her compete?

Funny, coming from someone who is lacking in objectivity and is angry all the time.

I assume this would only happen for events that have enough trans competitors, then. Again, not sure this will work as a practical solution. Sounds more like the result will be no trans women competing.

We can carve out the EVs who are already going direct and never had a car dealership model to protect, but good luck getting any Democrats to try to eliminate the entire car dealership model that created a big chunk of wealth for Americans who are donating to both Republicans and Democrats.

Yeah, but keep spinning and twisting as if Twitter makes all of us smarter by having our opinions being dictated by ignorant nobody political hack on Twitter and as if some rando's Tweet or TikTok is some authority on facts.

This article addresses the Republican Party's "loyalty pledge" they require all candidates to sign. If you aren't the 1, you must support whoever is, even if it's a jailed Trump.

This is why the Republican Party is a complete joke.
Their lust for power at all cost is absurd.

"No, I'm sorry, I'm not going to back a candidate who wants to explode our nuclear arsenal over Washington DC because he's a madman." But the GOP then says, "okay, sorry, you're out."

It's just like 2016 when trump said we had the worst economy ever and then in 2017 he declared it was the best ever.

Both were complete lies.

I don't recall that.
Yes, the stock market went up after November because the market anticipated lower tax rate but I don't recall non-Fox networks saying the same.

Maybe it's just because I knew what was happening that I saw thru a lens.

Yogi, you are as clueless about fascism as the rest of the loony Right.

I suggest a refresher course at a community college because you guys also suck at doing your own research and finding unbiased authoritative sources.

Colleges indoctrinate people. You are far better off finding some guy on YouTube who claims he is an ex-Navy SEAL but in fact worked in the mess hall and thus became a SEAL by osmosis to explain it to you.
