Claimed he was on the Men's Volleyball Team.

Both never happened.

I don't think his name is George Santos.

The politicians who proposed these bills were women.

There's a lot of catty Republican women out there apparently.

Dude should have never been able to run for office.
He was convicted for stealing in a "smash and grab" robbery in 2008, serving 7 years in prison.

Interesting. 7 years for smash and grabs. I feel like those crimes are getting more common these days.

The GOP has become so weird. Now they are promoting indoor smoking and passing stupid go nowhere bills to fire up their base (pun intended). I can't wait for them to try to outlaw crosswalks and seatbelts.

And now even Ben WAP Shapiro is too woke for his base.

And who can forget the most important kitchen table issue facing America right now - how f()ckable Tucker Carlson considers M&Ms to be. He's even made about "plus size" M&Ms lol. I am waiting for the maroons to boycott peanut M&Ms so we can have them all to ourselves.

True, but at least at this point in time DeSantis is not, provable beyond a reasonable doubt, a seditionist and a traitor.

…and yes, DeSantis, unlike tRump, every member of his family and his staff and advisors, is not as dumb as dump truck full of turnips.

Trump being dumb is a positive.

The only bad thing about Trump relative to DeSantis is his cult-like followers that don't believe in democracy but there is no telling what DeSantis might do.

Sometimes the devil you know is better.

More bad faith performative nonsense. If this were genuine, which it clearly is not, it would be one of the most idiotic ideas these maroons have come up with - and that's saying something considering how many dumb ideas they have.

On the bright side, it would put an end to inflation pretty quickly, but the changes to our economy would be far-reaching and entirely negative.

Looking forward to all the robust defenders of ending income taxes and replacing them with sales taxes from the Republicans on this board. Nothing would benefit the elites like that kind of legislation. Is that what you voted for? Will the majority of Republicans in the House support a bill like this? Democrats will not.

It's not just incompetence - many of them are start enough to realize that they don't actually want to accomplish the things they pretend to advocate for.

Case in point - Trump's recent statements around evangelicals being disloyal. He is now realizing that he was better off pretending to be anti-choice than actually appointing SCOTUS radical clerics who actually did it. He crafted a transactional relationship with evangelicals and now that he's done all that he can for them, it appears many are abandoning him. Trump's dumber than most and I'm sure that the thought leaders in the GOP realize that actually banning abortion is counter-productive to their voting interests, hence what happened in the midterms.

Quote:

Trump's comments to conservative journalist David Brody in a podcast interview Monday, in which he decried the "disloyalty" of evangelical leaders who have withheld public support for his campaign, were the latest in a series of bewildering remarks he's made about one of the most critical voting blocs in a Republican primary.

"Nobody has ever done more for Right to Life than Donald Trump. I put three Supreme Court justices, who all voted, and they got something that they've been fighting for 64 years, for many, many years,'" Trump told Brody, referring to the Supreme Court's overturning of federal abortion rights in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision last summer.

"There's great disloyalty in the world of politics and that's a sign of disloyalty," Trump continued, bemoaning evangelical leaders who have declined to support his latest campaign.

Earlier this month, Trump also criticized abortion opponents for losing "large numbers of voters" in the 2022 midterm elections, "especially those that firmly insisted on No Exceptions, even in the case of Rape, Incest, or Life of the Mother." The comments on his Truth Social platform drew sharp retorts from several prominent religious conservatives and anti-abortion activists, including Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America president Marjorie Dannenfelser, who, in a thinly veiled critique of Trump, criticized Republicans who have advocated for an "Ostrich Strategy" on abortion, preferring to ignore the issue than elevate it in critical elections.

BTW, LOL at you posting tweets from professional liars in Congress. Here's one of my favorites from his Greatest Hits album "Don Beyer Sings About Collusion."

I can't imagine anything the GOP could do that would be more unpopular than that. Not paying income taxes is nice once a year. Paying 30% more for purchases multiple times a week just hits home constantly. I think we'd have a revolt within 6 months. Probably a huge surge in shoplifting too.

Most low income Americans don't pay any income tax anyway.

This is another way to shift the tax burden from the rich to the middle and lower class because that is more "fair."
