Thanks to our intrepid road reporter, Concord is in the midst of major road repairs on Treat Blvd. and based on my recent passages, damn does it need it!!

No doubt, DW will have his still-fresh-off-the-boat Porsche racing past DLS faster than Russell Lawsen!

All I can say Tom is that it's about time.
As you know, Treat Blvd is like a "washboard" from Bancroft all the way up to Clayton Road.

Yeah.
Actually, as I was driving yesterday heading toward 24, I was like, "oh, wait, this is going to get better as soon as I cross into WC."
And it did, at about Arkell just after Carondolet.

And with all that I was thinking of you.

I also noticed, drove past, a re-pave of the parking lot in front of Trader Joe's and Baskin Robbins at Oak Grove.

All this is great news because then it means we can punch it again from there to Cowell, provided we make those 2 (now 3) lights.

Wouldn't it be best to hang a right and then left at the top vs Clayton Rd?
I just hate lights, but Ygnacio can be miserable - why we left rather than go back on the historical homelands on marsh creek or Morgan territory.

I wish they'd put a freeway from the concord pavilion to north concord with the buildout of the NWS!
Save Treat and Ygnacio and all the other sneaky through-fares !
