I think there are a few separate things happening.

First - Trump is desperate for anything that will help him regain popularity. He recently had a rally in Florida that he pretended had tens of thousands of people but in reality was well short of the 5,000 capacity. People are tired of his schtick so his answer is to become more of a crazy extremist. Cribbing from the type of stuff Hitler said is just right wing populism 101.

Which brings us to the second point - Trump had no governing plan for his presidency and he still doesn't. He know he wants to win and he like being POTUS, but not for any of the reasons most people do. No one is pretending anymore that the second term will change him (other than his focusing on revenge), so the RW elites are doing everything they can to co-opt his second term into a windfall for them.

That's why Heritage is doing what it's doing - they see it as a good investment in case Biden manages to lose. Everyone saw how successful Leonard Leo was getting Trump to accept his judges and they realize that they can basically take over his entire presidency to enrich themselves. The fact that they are spinning it to Trump as "Trump loyalists" is just a mechanism to convince him to allow them to do what they want. The difference between Trump's first and second term is that "establishment" conservatives tried to do things "the right way" in getting Trump to not be a horrible president but they completely missed the boat. The way to handle Turmp is to do whatever you want but tell him a bed time story so he thinks its about himself. That's what Leo did and that's the blueprint that everyone is following.

Obviously this would be terrible news for the Bernie bros who decide not to vote for Biden in order to hand Trump the presidency, but those people are clueless about how to achieve their goals and I don't see that turning around any time soon. I'm sure they will continue to enjoy watching youtubers to make themselves feel superior.

Trump is also desperate to win the Presidency to use the power of the office to deflect his legal woes. I saw a headline today about Donald Trump Jr stating that the fate of the Trump Organization depends on the 2024 election. I haven't read the story though.

The former Bernie Bros will actually vote for tRump just like the Eugene McCarthy Bros in 1968 voted for George Wallace. They break all the toys and go full "burn the motherf@ucker down" mode.

I think Yogi is saying that Hitler was bad and that Biden and tRump are both Hitlerian and bad. He thinks Biden gets his Hitler credentials from enabling Bibi to commit genocide on the Palestinian people.

Yogi and his conspiratorial ilk assign a lot more power to the US government on the international stage than they actually have.

And yes, I think we probably should pull our funding to the Israeli military until they moderate their approach to Palestine. But at this point they could still be doing a lot of this without us.

They can't sustain that level of bombing intensity without constant ammunition resupplies from the US, or dissuade Hezbollah on their northern border without the presence of 1 or 2 US carrier groups.

The US has, in theory, a huge amount of leverage over Israel, though in domestic politics it's the other way around, especially in an election year. In earlier times the US was able to restrain Israel, limiting the scopes of the 1956, 67 and 73 wars but this time around it seems that Israel got a blank check.

Old FBI Files Claim Donald Trump's Second Wife Marla Maples Allegedly Had an Affair With This '90s Singer

Thu, November 16, 2023,

Donald Trump's love life has been an open book for quite some time from his very public affair with Marla Maples to his alleged romp with sex worker Stormy Daniels. It's pretty safe to say that the former president has not always been loyal to his wives. However, there's one jaw-dropping story that popped up in an old FBI file that reportedly revealed Maples also stepped out on Donald Trump during a brief split.

The legal papers were released in 2019 and document a brewing love triangle between Donald Trump, Maples, and romantic-ballad crooner Michael Bolton. At the time, Maples was living at the Trump Parc condo building when she "had bought singer Michael Bolton back to her room following Trump's departure for a West Coast trip," according to the documents obtained by Inside Edition. Donald Trump caught wind of the tryst and in 1994, discussed the matter with Vanity Fair.

He admitted, "I left her. I left her like a dog," which gave Maples plenty of space to go and pursue Bolton. But Donald Trump didn't like that idea because he hated losing. "A guy like me, a competitive guy, it's like an affirmation that the girl has to be great because the No. 1 singer has fallen for her," he boasted. That's when Donald Trump lured her back and married her in 1993, and Bolton was left in the dust.

The FBI documents came to light from a legal case involving Maples' former publicist, Chuck Jones. He's the one who not only stole nude photos and shoes (weird) from his client, but also spilled the tea about her alleged affair with Donald Trump's bodyguard, Spencer Wagner, in 1996. It's a very tangled web that Donald Trump and his wives like to weave, but we never expected to hear Bolton's name thrown into the equation.

Marla wins some award for men with bad hair.

" …..it's like an affirmation that the girl has to be great because the No. 1 singer has fallen for her," he boasted."

Michael Bolton has always been a tier or two below elevator music. Marla Maples, on the other hand, is a handsome woman that has somehow managed not have turned herself into a plastic surgery monster at age 60.

Not that you know of.

Regardless, I prefer to judge a person not on their looks but by their behavior and how they live their life.

Now, I can't claim to know much at all about Marla, but anyone who is stupid enough to spread their legs for Trump gets a thumbs down, just like anyone stupid enough to have voted for him.

I'm not sure commenting on someone's good looks equates to judging what type of person someone is.

Commenting on a women's looks is simply being an un-woke sexist pig.

*Any moral high ground points you accrued with the statement that you don't judge a person by their looks pretty much got forfeited by your spread her legs comment.
*I'm not saying she didn't have a nip and tuck here and there, but her and Liz Hurley have avoided the Madonna train wreck…and Madonna could buy and sell them all several times over.

I'm sorry.
I can appreciate a good looking women!
But Marla, because of her association with Trump, is ugly to me.

Feel free to continue to respectfully comment on pretty women, ESPECIALLY those who age gracefully, as they are!

My bad.
His stench is something she can't wash off, not even if she were to swallow or inject bleach.

PS: I don't see what's wrong with my spread legs comment. She had poor judgement, let the big bad wolf into her bed. If he swallowed her up, is that her fault? Perhaps.

Now, that's two swallows in one Trump-touching post. Ick!
