Yesterday, I was reminded how fortunate I am to be bilingual. I was able to help 2 women at the post office who couldn't speak English by serving as their translator.
I am a Cal grad like Julie, and yesterday's experience opened my eyes to the fact that I can help with outreach to all Latinos in the U.S., especially immigrants who need to know we welcome them with open arms.
Please let me help with Latino and immigrant outreach by being a spokesman for the campaign.

This is just my first attempt to contact the campaign (and the only attempt I will make on the Cal Board). But it's worth emphasizing that we can all do something to help ....
